I purchased this cable so that I could watch satellite TV on my portable DVD player by my computer. You will probably need an adapter to convert from the RCA-style connectors to the mini connectors on most players. There doesn't appear to be any loss of signal quality, even though the cable is very long. The video wire is pretty thick, so that probably helps. Nice cable for a good price.
