To create a new look for your wood table top, try to refinish it. Using a scraper, grate the old finish. Afterwards, smooth it with sandpaper. Coat the table top with polyurethane. Let it dry. Then, put on the second layer of polyurethane coating. Let it dry once more, and then put on the third layer of coating.
